Final Conference
Yesterday, the Final conference on the project “Specialized services for children from Roma communities in conflict or contact with the law” was held in the Expo Hotel, Sofia. Representatives of the partners, as well as institutions and organizations from Sofia and the country, working in the field, were present.
The head of the project Dimitar Rusinov summarized the results and presented the newly created specialized service Center for counseling and legal assistance to children in Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Lom. Tihomir Bezlov from the Center for the Study of Democracy introduced the participants to the most imp
ortant conclusions and results of the project’s research in the three Roma communities. Through an online link, partners from Save a child Foundation presented Norway’s experience in working with children in conflict with the law.
The project “Specialized services for children from Roma communities in conflict or contact with the law” is financed by the Justice Program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The leading organization is Crime Prevention Fund IGA, and the partners are Roma-Lom Foundation “, Regional Development Foundation FRR “Roma – Plovdiv” and “Save a child” Foundation – Norway.
